About Me

At my core I am a designer, an explorer, and a child (at heart). Consequently, as a User Experience Researcher, I enjoy exploring how people - specifically children - understand the world around them, and how those understanding can impact the way we design technology. I am advised by Dr. Allison Druin and co-advised by Dr. Tamara Clegg at the University of Maryland, College Park.

On my free time I like to visit new cities and countries around the world. I'm a huge foodie (like seriously it's a problem); I especially love trying food from different cultures. My goal on every trip is to speak to as many locals as I can to understand their way of life, thereby expanding my understanding of diverse people and cultures. I have found this to be incredibly helpful towards my research as I am better able to understand why people act the way they do.
